The concept of country clubs are unknown in Hungary - it's surprising how well this place grasps it still. Vacation or just a quick meal, it doesn't matter, you'll enjoy your time and find yourself longing back to this romantic spot right by the Slovenian-Hungarian border.

If you are English then please do not stay here. From the minute we arrived we have been treated very badly!If you don’t speak German then you are going to be treated with hostility. I opened lots of possibilities for the staff to be polite but it just got worse. Very rude bar and restaurant staff with one waitress just laughing at my face and telling me in perfectly spoken English that she doesn’t speak English. A really bizarre and unsettling attitude. Two hours waiting for our food order to be taken we left and ate elsewhere on our arrival day which was a long days journey. The staff - who are costing the owners money in last sales as we choose not to eat there at all for our entire stay - seemed happy that we had left!! Every time I asked for service I was told two minutes but the servers just didn’t serve us. APPALLING STAFF AND VERY BAD SERVICE.

The whole resort is nicely built, designed. On the other hand, the reception service was quite disappointing: unconcerned, bored and apathetic - even though we were clearly asking/looking for a potential wedding scene (= plenty of money on the horizon for 1 night).

Definitely brush up on Hungarian. The staff isn't fully equipped with proficient English, but they are kind and friendly. The rooms do not have air conditioning and some of the rooms get hot, but you can rent a fan if needed. The rooms and the hotel in general is clean. The surrounding area is very quiet, so there will be no problems with sleeping.

The accomadation is clear and correct. The staff is very polite they want to serve the guests every time. There is not air conditioner in the room and it is not convinient in summer. Real dog friendly place. The foods are delicius everybody can coose from the menu.

Silent place with good kitchen. The nearby Zala region is rich with folk arts, and Slovenia, Croatia and Austria is also in driving distance.

Perfect for family & dogs - great price/quality ratio. We have a 10months old daughter and a rather active dog. I am vegetarian and my wife has a list of food sensitivities so finding something suitable can be challenging at times. The place is located at slovenian border - no car ever passes by, super quiet. guest are mostly regulars, very tolerant to messy families and very friendly ;-). Food was fantastic, 100% fresh and individually cooked, few options for vegies but enough for a 5 day stay.breakfast was generous … nothing i expected of a 3star. Only drawback was while everyone was super friendly with our wuffy there were no close by hikes you could do for extended dog walks in the morning/evening. Highly recommendable and a lot of value for your money. A few additions for addressing earlier reviews. If you dont speak hungarian - try german … english did not go too well. Its quiet! Rooms are simple and the entire eatate is designed around timesharing. Do not expect bells and whistles but if you look for quietness, good food and mingling with other guests (some sometimes speak english) you will enjoy it a lot

Very beautiful and peaceful. We just stopped for a drink and a bite to eat. The food was fabulous and the waitress attentive. Would recommend.
