Enough food options for us, we wanted to try goulash and it was great.
Cool little spot to visit and enjoy some Hungarian fare.

★ ★ ★ ★ ★ Cool little lounge bar near the Keleti train station. Limited, but fine menu, excellent food. Thai chicken soup is definitely a highlight! Staff is super nice.
Highly recommended.

Con: Having to wait for about 20 minutes to order when there were less than ten other people around just shouldn't happen. (We were seated and got menus when we came in so there's no way they didn't realize we were waiting.) Didn't even get an excuse from the staff.

★ ★ ★ ★ ★ I found the staff very helpful but a bit slow, I thinks waiters are overwhelmed, or there's a severe bottleneck somewhere in their workflow. They provided blankets and candles for outdoor seating when it was cold, which was nice. I liked the food blvery much, everything was really tasty. They had a limited number of vegetarian options though (4-5 items). Okay prices.

★ ★ ★ ★ ★ We stumbled across this courtyard bistro close to our holiday apartment. Good Hungarian flavoured menu, with duck and pork dishes. Good selection of local wines on the wine list which is pasted round a wine bottle - nice touch! Friendly helpful staff. Enjoyed it so much the first time we returned for dinner on our last evening in Budapest.

★ ★ ★ ★ ★ Food is decent, slightly above average. Nothing to write home about. Menu is limited but a good option for tourists who like comfort food that's not weird or wacky. Service is good. Ambience feels mixed between the place wanting to be a trendy bar with a dance stage area, and a restaurant with white table cloth. A good option for fussy eaters.
