Badacsony Camping - Badacsony Camping

Great little campaign with it's own little beach, clean toilets, sauna, great warm shower, kitchen, fridge, washing machine is aviable. For the one's who want to take it to the highest level you can get a relatively cheap but good quality massage as well. Well equipped with free to use grilling places, with a four seat covered seating area what protects you from sun or rain. 5 minutes walk to the center with amazing places to try the local high quality vines. I enjoyed this place, can recommend to anyone who is not necessary searching for the cheapest campaign place. It's a middle price range campaign.

There is nothing to dislike about this place: from large trees to lakeside access everything is spot-on. Newly build sanitary facilities are kept clean, and complementary sauna is a nice touch. There are three BBQs ready to use with the camping shop having all the things you need (including coal). The overall rating is a no-brainer: 5 stars is not enough.

When I checked in I was given the price for camping per night which was 2600 a night per tent. I stayed for 2 nights. When I checked out I was charged 2 nights for camping + tourist tax and then they charged me an extra 2200 per day for a day visitor ticket as well. Avoid this thieving place if you are not Hungarian. They’re obviously has no people screwing over foreigners which explains why here are hardly anybody else in the area except for Hungarians. On the first night a beer was stolen from the freezer and when I checkout out I realise someone stole my cooling bricks as well. Bathrooms are also dirty and doesn’t get cleaned more than once a day. I spend a month traveling in Slovenia to some of the biggest camping sites (500) and not once did anyone ever steal anything from mine in a communal area. There is also a click or bar nearby that makes noise until 4/5am in the morning. This was on a Sat and Sun evening. My opinion on Hungary so far. Stay away. It’s dirty and it attracts dirty people. Go to Slovenia which is a more eco conscience county and where camping is much nicer, safer and cheaper and cleaner with a lot more outdoor activities and there are a lot more tourists as it’s a tourist friendly country.

2021: Still amazing - best staff ever. Like coming home :) Do not miss the Restaurant at the entrance ???? We came back at third times and it is was an amazing experience. Nice calm waterfront, clean bathroom, showers and kitchen. The security is excellent also with a nice guard during the night. ???

Great very private camping - it's small but when you want to relax - it's just for you . It's near to huge moutanin badacsony . A short walk from camping you can go to the city of badacsony or to a cute vine testing places . Houses are clean and nice .

We where satisfied! Very good food.

Very nice quite place! Camping is quite small and its big attitude of this place, you are avoiding all these crouds.... Toilets are clean, personel is very helpfull. Parcels for campers are quite big-only pitty that not all are shaded, and equiped with access to electricity. Kids will find small playground for them selves- could be little bit better equiped. For me its a good place to visit if You are looking place to rest from noisy city!

Extra: it has its own beach and the buffet at the entrance is surprisingly good
