You can also find a heavenly table for the treadmill;) the sculptures / groups of sculptures are very beautiful, although a thorough renovation is very missed by them. Many singing birds express their excitement to follow the sounds of the city (although the proximity of the railway does not disturb this). It can also be ageed with a stroller. A large toy car is also waiting for those arriving by car. From now on, a large outdoor fitness park will also color the park.

Green heart of Dombóvár Enchanted Dombóvár's innumerable freshly green, well-kept park. Yet as I reached the Island Forest, I forgot all about it. I found a world-class park here. One that even the “coolest” metropolises would be happy to claim. The park is located next to the rails, a quarter of an hour's walk from the Stork Castle. On the way to the park, in Földvár Street, four houses built in 1910 are deburring, a mini Wekerle settlement. Powerful cornice, brick inlaid facade, flowery front garden. Once, railway lieutenants lived here. Reaching the Island Forest, I didn’t want to believe my eyes, the shady trees surround a 600-meter runway, and there is a wide walkway along the track. The park was teeming with visitors and statues. Wow, but from what statues… About this later. Drinking fountains, playground for little ones and adults alike. The Middle Ages peek out of the hiding places of the trees! A “killer” residential tower that fits into a Hollywood medieval costume historical film towers in the green. Unfortunately, it was closed, although two exhibitions can be viewed in it. One shows the stamp bricks, the other our 1848 government and the statues scattered throughout the park. Piroska's house once stood here. Unfortunately, since the 1980s, it is no longer available. In the recollections, they tell with great love about the little house, the wolf lying in bed, whose anomalies (nose, ear, tooth) are of vivid interest to Piroska. I'm not keen, I'm just shy, can't it be rebuilt ?! See youth for something that is not “TV“ canned ”!

They did the park beautifully. I visited here years ago then the monument was not visible so much overgrown with vegetation and we only found a statue that we had to fight on the bush.

Classy playground, very nice sculptures, tidy park

The statues are in a very nice place, much better here than in front of the parliament. The park is also very nice, tidy. There is also a running track, a playground and a gym. Which makes it only 4 stars: these statues could be cleaned at least every 20 years!

You can't imagine an easier castle tour :) The ditch and rampart of the 13th century castle, the castle plateau, looks beautiful. Archaeologist Zsuzsa Miklós excavated the foundations of the brick tower from the rubble, and who would have thought it would be reconstructed? The tower and its exhibition can be visited during opening hours.
