Hen party recommendations:

1. I highly recommend the party organises dinner at the villa on Friday with your lovely husband cooking for them. After our flight and transfer, it was so nice to arrive at the villa and have our dinner ready for us!

2. On Saturday, we did the ‘wheels and meals’ bike tour which was a great way to see the city and taste some traditional Hungarian food in a ‘non touristy’ restaurant.

I did also see some Segway tours which I think would have been very fun!

3. On Saturday night, we made reservations at this cocktail bar / restaurant: http://oinos.hu/hu/#_=_

It was very cool – with a great list of cocktails and amazing food. They will need to book though as its popular (no. 15 of restaurants on Trip Advisor).

4. This ruin bar was also great – and I recommend they go there for drinks (maybe after or before dinner)? Szimpla Kert

5. Our group were not really into ‘clubbing’ so we didn’t go to a club – but I was told by a friend of mine that this club would be a good choice to go for: http://www.budapestagent.com/romkert-budapest.html

Although I think it is outside, so perhaps only a good one if it is warm!

6. The other recommendation I would give is to book the lovely ladies that did our massages at the villa – it was such a lovely chilled out day for us on the Sunday and every member of our party said it was the best massage they had ever had.

7. One final recommendation – if the hen party decide to go to some baths, stay away from the touristy ones like Szechenyi Baths or Gellert Baths. Instead, try ‘Veli bej Turkish Bath’ – it’s a little off the beaten track but well worth it. Alternatively, Rudas Turkisk Bath is supposed to be amaxing.
