Somogyi József szobrászművész 1976-os bronz emlékmű szobra Miskolcon a Vörösmarty-lakótelepen láthatjuk. A szovjet hősi emlékmű eredetileg a Hősök terén lett felavatva, de a rendszerváltás után áthelyezésre került. A Felszabadulási emlékmű egy robosztus női alakot ábrázol, kezében olajággal, amin a szabadság szimbólumaként egy galamb ül. This statue made of bronze by sculptor József Somogyi and it's erected in Vörösmarty lakótelep in 1976. The Soviet heroic monument was originally set up in the Hősök tere (Heroes' Square), but it was moved after the regime change. The Felszabadulási emlékmű ( Liberation Monument) illustrates a robust female figure with an olive tree in her hand, where a dove stands on as a symbol of freedom.
