The Basilica has three bells which are located in the Southern Bell Tower.
The first one is the Big Bell (Nagyharang) was 5782 kilograms, diameter is 218.5 cm, and it's moulded by László Szlezák in 1938. His predecessor was moulded by András Schaudt, it was 5467 kgs but it has cracked in 1930 and due to this reason had to be re-moulded.
The second one is the Middle bell (Középharang) It's 80 kilogramms, diameter is 81 cm. It's moulded by András Schaudt in 1858 in Pest.
The third one is the Bell of soul (Lélekharang) It's 20 kgs and diameter is 32 cm. It's moulded by Joseph Steinstock.
The year 1751 can be read on it which suggesting the bell has been bought by the Christian community in that actual year.
