Being a great hiker for me is the base to visit here. Although the monument itself is not a big number, the essence is the beautiful forest, fresh scents! Anno me too Pál Rockenbauer inspired me to make a great series of forest trips and I am very happy that his name and spirit are still alive today. in my opinion, the Alps are one of the most beautiful landscapes of our country, not only in summer but also in autumn.

Nice hiking trail and very popular. We saw a tourist train ride the whole group, but I'm not sure if that's the rule. We enjoyed this trip full of beautiful views. I just recommend really good shoes.

A monument that was erected for the blue tour (initiated by Vilmos Kőhalmi in 1977) ... and is it not affected by the blue tour? In 1990, the end point of the OCT was moved from St. Vid to Written Stone, so the trail is no longer affected. If you go for this, you should take a little detour and see it.

There is no reason to sit back, because neither the National Blue Tour nor the Pál Rockenbauer South Transdanubia Blue Tour starts here. However, when you cling to the peak of Írottkő, you will most likely besiege the starting point of the Kőszeg Mountains through Velem anyway. It is said that at the time when he was looking for Szálasi accommodation for himself during the demolition of the country, he wanted to install two more Kéktúra sealing places in the crown bunker area. Being a military man, he could only dream big in a bunker. Therefore, he commissioned military excavations in Velem and Kőszeg. He dug the Crown and his jewels into the disgraceful burrows of the excavations. It is not possible to know exactly what might have been in the minds of a narrow-minded soldier when he shoved the Hungarian crown into holes that would even be a disgrace to a crumbling wine cellar. He supposedly thought that was the only way to gain the honorary status of a sealing place for his rattles. In any case, the crown and the blue tour seal escaped the stinking cave views. Not long after, a buddy Rákosi buddy dreamed of a Stalin curtain on the mountain to border the country. Thus, until his dreams collapsed, he moved from the National Blue Tour Writing Stone to the temporary memorial church of St. Vid in Velem. To commemorate this, a monument was erected here by the Blue Tour historians. Today, the monument and its surroundings serve as places of pilgrimage. Catholic pilgrims at the temple, Buddhist on the hills, and Blue Tour pilgrims at the Blue Tour monument.
