★ ★ ★ ★ ★ Best government office I've been to in the world! I have been twice this week, and both times my issues were handled fast, and efficiently, by very friendly English speaking clerks. This is a first for me, in any government office! And the building is really beautiful and clean too.

★ ★ ★ ★ ★ I had a hard time to find the entrance since the railway station is under renovations. The building is now located at the back of Eiffel ter FYI. Once in, there is someone assisting you and printing your ticket. It wasn't too busy and I didnt wait long. I was welcomed by an agent that spoke good English and handled my request pretty quickly (immunity card request). Well organised office with friendly staff!

★ ★ ★ ★ ★ After visiting yesterday to find the office closed for the day for maintenance or work (!) for no apparent reason, it was a great experience returning today, well, as good as a visit to a government office can be! Quick, efficient, polite and English speaking staff made the visit both quick and easy. For foreigners/expats without a TAJ card still needing to get a vaccine card I can highly recommend THIS kormányablak. In and out within 10 minutes, and that includes the waiting time. Kudos to the friendly, helpful staff there.

★ ★ ★ ★ ★ Is this the best Government office in Hungary? In my 2.5 years here I'd say YES! I've been several times now, as I have no TAJ card. First got my elusive plastic immunity card here - it arrived within 10 days. Yesterday I went for the EU certificate and it took literally 5 minutes. Clean, aircon, with kind staff who speak English. They will print it out for you and send an electronic version to your email, which is in full colour. Highly recommend this office. Thank you!

★ ★ ★ ★ ★ Regardless the building works in the area the office is open but the entance is from the back of the building and there are absolutely no signs to suggest so. The back of the building is the south-west side of the building (facing Teréz krt.).

★ ★ ★ ★ ★ 2nd visit for new EU Covid vaccination certificate, in and out less than 5 minutes, good service. Due to construction of Nyugati, now enter from Terez krt. via Eiffel ter, with McD's on your left (go back left corner of ter); assume most personnel have some English through to good English.

★ ★ ★ ★ ★ I went there to get the EU digital covid certificate and I didn't have to wait for a long time. Only a few minutes.
The staff spoke English well and was helpful.
She tried to solve my problem quickly.
You can also find the short way to get into the office by turning into the corner nearby Costa cafe.

★ ★ ★ ★ ★ As an Expat from the USA I came here to apply for a European Digital Covid Vaccination Certificate. I was vaccinated in the USA and have a CDC card which is not widely accepted in Europe.
The whole train station and building it is housed in is under major construction. The office was hard to find and only has one little "sign" with its logo on it (see my photo's). It is on the main level near tracks 13-17.
I arrived at 11am on a wednesday (thats what time it opens on wednesday - see photo for times on other days). There was already a healthy queue but there is a gentleman working the kiosk that gives out numbers, speeding things up. The queue was gone in a matter of a few minutes.
I had a translation of what I wanted saved on my phone, showed him that and he gave me a ticket. I waited about 30-40 minutes for my number to be called.
I brought my passport, residence card, address card and CDC card. The clerk spoke english enough to make the transaction. I filled out and signed a piece of paper. He said I need to wait for my certificate. I am not sure if it will come by email or post. I will update when I receive it.
I asked if I could also apply for my wife but they meed her signature so she must be there as well.
All told I was there 50 minutes. Not too bad and easy enough to navigate.
UPDATE: It has been a month and nothing has arrived. So, not sure why, but this was a failed mission.
UP UPDATE: I received an email stating they needed my Residence Card. So i replied with pics of all my I.D.'s - Residence Card, Passport, Address Card, Hungarian DL....about a week later I recieved my EU Covid Vaccine Cert on an email. So, it was lengthy but eventually succeded.
