But I’m guessing it’s a tourist trap.

★ ★ ★ ★ ★ Great location- great view. Right in front of St.Stephen’s Basilica. Great spot to stop and have some drinks after walking the major sites in Budapest. Everything was great until they cashed us out- and automatically kept the HUF change that was in coins. (~$2.00) worth. Would just make sure they give correct change. Maybe just a specific waiter issue. ??♂️?.

Service
Very accommodating and was available if needed but not overly hoovering near the table. Very nice.
Food
I got the Goulash and Lamb Confti. The actual soup was so flavorful it was crazy but the actual meat, potatoes, and carrots were very bland. The Lamb Confti was an amazing feat all on its own. The lamb was super tender and the pesto gnocchi was the star of the dish. First time I can say this dish was creamy goodness with a touch of pomegranate.
Overall
Not sure why this restaurant rating is so low but I can wholeheartedly say that this was one of the best restaurants I have been to in a long while. If you are in Budapest pleas give it a shot.

★ ★ ★ ★ ★ All I ever ate here were the desserts. And those were very very delicious. Their mákos guba is one of the best out there.
Coffee and hot chocolate are average, mulled wine was fine.
Overall, service and ambient are really good, prices are too high for Hungarian standard.
