★ ★ ★ ★ ★ What a Gem! A little bit outside the 'touristic' areas this one filled my heart with joy. Handmade delicious strudel with a coffee is just perfection. I tried a little bit too hard to make the ladies smile, but i just couldnt contain my gratitude for this 100 year old small cafe.

★ ★ ★ ★ ★ Amazing. The rétes here are amazing. Tried the following: sweet cheese with dill, cabbage, apple, sour cherry & poppyseed, and apricot. You cannot go wrong with any of those choices! But the cheese & dill and cabbage ones were our favourite! We ate in and enjoyed ours with espresso. We took some for the road as well. Its definitely worth the long walk from the centre to try this. Fantastic!!

★ ★ ★ ★ ★ Second best strudel in Budapest after Hugo's, in our opinion, with the right texture, softness and containt - plum was our favorite, gor it's texture, freshness the small interior has a nice retro touch - we felt lilke a visot to grandma's; it was so good that at the end we took a dozen home.
