He began his studies in Szeged with Sándor Fichtner. He graduated from János Koessler (composition) at the College of Music from 1921. He was a teacher of the National Musician of Bp. from 1921, from 1923-40 the conductor of the MÁV Philharmonic Orchestra of Debrecen; In 1949 he was a faculty member of the Szeged National Theater, from 1946 he was a teacher of composition and music theory at the Szeged Vocational High School, he was a music critic of Southern Hungary from 1947-61, and in 1949-50 he was a conductor of the Szeged Philharmonic Orchestra. and composed piano works, he had an author's evening at the Academy of Music in 1927. His chamber works and choirs were performed at several concerts.
