Great place not too many people

It's a free ice rink, very close to City center, on the river bank of Danube. Free dressing room, cheap skate rental (1000 HUF/3 hours, ~3.5 EUR).

It's a great location with nice surroundings with food and drink trucks. Excellent view to Gellért Hegy, the bath and Szabadság Híd. There's music and using the rink is free but you have to hire the skates or you can bring your own.

Ice quality is quite good. Almost nobody on the ice at 10 AM. Even later I couldn't count more than 30 guests. Hopefully it remains like this. There is a heated room, where you can change your gear. Bálna Parking House is free for the first hour!

Had a great time there, we had to wait like a half an hour to rent the skates but it's free otherwise. We left our stuff in the "changing room" thingy and it was not stolen. The place is a little bit small, but it's not that hard to navigate around other people. Only Hungarian music was playing though on the day we went, and we'll Hungarian music is not that good tbh. And it wasn't even there is some Hungarian music from the past and from today, it was mostly today's music.

It's a small but free rink. Lots of people come here so you might want to avoid peek hours but it's pretty nice, everyone is respectful and you have a great view over the danube
