★ ★ ★ ★ ★ There has been a pub at this location for at least 60 years by now, so it is a classic place. The design is unusually elegant for the city and the drinks selection also tends to the higher quality levels (aged gins and some expensive vodka brands are available only here in Miskolc), nevertheless the prices are thoroughly acceptable, so much of the youth can be found here at weekends. Coffee is great here! The beer of the house is Soproni, variants of it and Heineken are on draft. 5centes draws its name from spirits being served only in 5 centilitres (instead of 4cl more usual at other places and traditional for Hungary). 5centes has one of the best toilets among the pubs of the city (no laugh, it is important!). The staff is very nice. There is also a snooker table. The only drawback I would point out is the music, which is rather loud.
