★ ★ ★ ★ ★ A kényszermunkára elhurcoltakért állítottak emlékművet a XVI. kerületi Sashalmi sétányon 2022 január 19-én, a magyarországi németek elhurcolásának és elűzetésének emléknapján. 1945 januárjában ugyanis innen indult el az a 137 lakos, akiket a Szovjetunió internálótáboraiba deportáltak a kerületből. Az emlékművet R. Törley Mária szobrászművész készítette a Német Nemzetiségi Önkormányzat felkérésre.
A teljes mű 5+1 stációból áll majd, minden stáció egy-egy történelmi fejezetet jelenít meg. A most felavatott munka az első stáció, ami az elűzetésre emlékezik.
 A monument was erected for those deported to forced labor in the 16th century. on the Sashalmi promenade in the district on January 19, 2022, the day of the commemoration of the abduction and expulsion of the Germans in Hungary. In January 1945, the 137 inhabitants deported from the district to the internment camps of the Soviet Union left. The monument was created by the sculptor Mária R. Törley at the request of the German National Government.
The entire work will consist of 5 + 1 stations, each station displaying a historical chapter. The work now inaugurated is the first station to remember the expulsion.
