★ ★ ★ ★ ★ A Tompa utca 10. az 1956-os forradalom és szabadságharc alatt a Tompa utcai felkelők egyik bázisa, melyet eleinte a Göndör becenévre hallgató Wágner István vezetett. Később a Bordósipkás Jancsi, vagyis Bárány János irányította felkelői csoportot. Bordósipkás Jancsi, amikor a Magyar Rádiónál megkezdődött az ostrom, Csepelről munkásokat, valamint fegyvereket hozott.
Ezt a rendhagyó emlékművet 2016. október 23-án, a 60. évforduló alkalmából avatták fel. Nagyon tetszik, mert igazán érzékletes a bronzból formált, korabeli rádió, hisz akkor ez volt az információs csatorna. A jellegzetes sapka, mintha pont most dobták volna oda. A pesti srácok nevei pedig a fekete gránitbol formált asztal oldalán, körbe olvasható.
 Tompa utca 10. was one of the bases of the Tompa utca insurgents during the 1956 revolution and the war of independence, which was initially led by István Wágner, nicknamed Göndör. Later, the Bordósipkás Jancsi, or János Bárány, led the insurgent group. Jancsi Bordósipkás, when the siege began at the Hungarian Radio, brought workers and weapons from Csepel.
This unusual monument was inaugurated on October 23, 2016, on the occasion of the 60th anniversary. I really like it because the contemporary radio made of bronze is really sensual, because then it was the information channel. The characteristic cap, as if just thrown there. The names of the guys from Pest can be read around the side of the black granite table.
