A very nice venue with good access too and from with bars and restaurant. For concerts it's awesome with a good stage where you can literally stand 1 m from your favorite artist ? and since it's on a boat it adds to the coolness of the atmosphere.

Finally managed get to A38 after hearing endless good reviews about this place. Then soon to discover from excitement to unpleasant experience with bouncer it's postcovid so they asked for immunity card which I have. It's obvious that I am not a local which is why I have a resident card so I don't carry my passport but still able get business done in government official places. Unfortunately this bouncer simply reject my residence card but ask for my passport. Make me wonder who as expats travel with this biga** passport in their pocket. At the end I was let in cause I could present him my TAJ card So let talk about sound system, we attended the concert on the lower deck. It was a rock concert but we barely could hear what singer was singing cause the sound was so distorted. Band itself had to ask sound guys for sound adjustment in mid of the concert. Apart from these two problems it's a very good place. - Toilet was super clean and nice. - Beer price was higher than usual but not awfully bad. - ship was big enough and didn't feel so crowded - there is a place for cloth and bag for just 200 HUF However, two stars is what it's worth. Bouncer definitely need more training and a bit of brain cells.

This is a stationary ship on the Danube. Its full name is Artemovszk 38 and was originally made in Ukraine, in the Lenin Ship Factory during Soviet times. After the 1999 bombing of Belgrade, the ship could not travel anymore to the lower-Danube shipping lines and was an abandoned wreck for a while at Ukraine boarder, until someone decided to turn it into a concert hall. From 2003, the ship functions only as an event centre, with one of the best soundsystem in Budapest. It has over 750 concerts a year. Lot of rock and metal concerts are held here, so if you like this style, it's a must to visit. There is also a cultural place and exhibition room on it, bar, cloakroom, toilets, smoking decks. Tickets can be purchased by the door or online before the venue. QR codes can be shown on smart phone at the door. Guests are given a paper bracelet - this must be kept intact during the event. I have been to several concerts here and the venue is always nice, people are friendly, the sound is good quality. Recommended!

Excellent live music venue. Cloakroom available (200ft per item) with cool bottle opener key chains, and an extensive bar menu. A little tricky to get to from the bus stop but we'll worth the trip. Lots of live music on there so check it out if you're visiting.

Best Venue is Budapest hands down! Saw Carbon Based Lifeforms here as they blessed the sold out show with their amazing ambient sound! Tip: if you go see the 11:30pm-5am show and there is an earlier performance before it you may have to wait a little outside before they let you in to the bar if they are at max capacity (which is good because otherwise it would be too crowded inside). Great bar selection and normal venue prices on drinks. Bless up the A38 and their staff. Go see a show here from an artist you like, you won't regret it!

A fun event space with an amazing location You can have s nice walk at the scenic bank of the Danube after your concert :) daytime amazing view, night time with really nice, pretty lights around. Good organisation, good lineup, decent drinks with ok prices. And it's a ship. Who doesn't like ships.

If you know how to dance to electronic music, enjoy beeing with like minded people, like a good sound system, this is the place for you. Simply the Best party place in Budapest.
