Számos világhírű zenekart vezényelt, többek között a Bécsi és a Berlini Filharmonikusokatis. 1938-tól 1941-ig a Liszt Ferenc Zeneművészeti Egyetemen végezte tanulmányait, aminek emlékét a 2012-ben a Városligetben felállított szobra is őrzi.

Wikipedia: An Ikthe (pronounced 안익태, handja: 安益泰, Latin: Ahn Eak Tai ?; Pyongyang, December 5, 1906 - Barcelona, September 16, 1965) Korean composer, conductor and cellist, South Korean anthem (애국가, Egukka) and author of Korean fantasy. He has conducted many world-famous orchestras, including the Vienna and Berlin Philharmonic Orchestras. From 1938 to 1941 he studied at the Liszt Ferenc University of Music, the memory of which is preserved in the statue erected in 2012 in Városliget.
