"Gyönyörű!"

“Volt szerencsém a maga gyönyörű valóságában is látni ezeket a csodás kis virágokat. Olyan, mint egy virágszőnyeg! Ezt mindenkinek látni kell!”

We went there to see the fireflies, which would have been truly a magical experience had it not been for the overwhelming crowds of people, and the sickening smell of mosquito repellant people kept spraying on themselves (and into others faces). In fact, it was so bad that we decided to leave sooner than we would have intended and we could barely make our way back to the parking lot through the masses of people. How can the park admins not take any crowd control measures?! It was pure chaos and allowing so many people at the same time can't be good for nature either! But I guess since they charge over 2,000 Ft per person, making money is more important than nature preservation or health & safety.

The dance of the firebugs is really magical.

Extremely many people, despite, it is a nice walk in the forest. Dont forget to check the giant thuya and the snowdrop fields which are amazing.

Beautiful place to visit. If you plan to see the snowdrop blooming, it is around the end of february.

Worth a day visit, nice green experience, also a historical point for Austro-Hungarian Monarchy. Has limited mobile food and drinks service and good toilets as well.

Lots and lots of snowdrops covering the entire floor. Lots of different varieties and lots of other flowers. The walk we took was about 2.5km and took us 4hrs of wondering thru the arboretum. Great place for a walk on nature. Only downside Is that dogs are not allowed as they would trample the flowers

We love coming here in every season, but it was especially beautiful this Fall. I am pretty sure we caught the last few days of good weather, before all turns sour and cold. Plenty of walking, a massive variety of trees to look at, and some gorgeous scenary to top things off.

The snowdrops are beautiful. Great place. Only downside is a long line, but it went fast. Too many people and the food is a little pricy. Would visit again.
