It was a big disappointment, we went with the intention of bringing out a dog, the dog would have been housed surrounded by people who love a large garden, and they were sent on the grounds that if we don’t keep the dog indoors and out we can’t take any home. There are about 200 dogs caged there waiting for their owner and we can't bring one out just because we don't bring it into the apartment, to take the big dogs there to the house to get used to a dog that has only been there in a cage for years. ? enough gas that even the poor animals would die in the cage there rather than get into a nice big garden with a good family. I’m not saying they don’t treat them well because they do, but I think they deserve a good family, even if they’re just in the yard and not in the house. We have 2 dogs, both are in the garden and they are having a great time. And I think they would find a lot more owners if it weren’t for this stipulation.

I am very impressed with how caring and responsible the animals are and the quality of care and service going on in the shelter. A real treasure and hope for the animals ❤️ I can't wait to give a little phenomenon about Cegléd at home.

We went to the shelter for adoption, but unfortunately a huge disappointment greeted us there. You can’t adopt a puppy if you can’t provide keeping indoors, you’re not with the dog for 0-24 hours, you don’t have a concrete fence and you can’t even accidentally lock it in a kennel (not even for the night). You don’t care enough about the puppy if you don’t ride to a trainer (because making love doesn’t count as a quality pastime) because the now overly idealized idea is that only that dog can be happy if you meet all of the conditions listed above. We adopted two dogs from a shelter 12 years ago, they were very grateful puppies. None seemed lethargic about running around the huge garden during the day and being locked up in the kennel in the insulated, winter-heated cave for the night. If they really look at the dog’s interests at the shelter, wouldn’t it be better to know the dog among loving owners than to be locked in the kennel there for the rest of his life? Because based on these, only a very narrow layer could take care of a dog, and the dog would have to be taken away from the other keepers who keep them outside, because those animals are “unhappy”. Unfortunately, as this makes adoption impossible here in Hungary, we are forced to browse ads for puppies born as a result of “irresponsible animal husbandry”. We also made a donation, but we didn’t leave it there that way.

My experience is terrible. You cannot take a dog there or bring it. Incomprehensible.
