★ ★ ★ ★ ★ Rooms are clean and after renovation. Stuff is very friendly and helful. The biggiest issue is bad breakfast. Fruit and vegetables was already not edible, bakery old and very linited offer what to eat. Practically bread and butter maybe with jam or salami if you take a risk.Hotel restaurant was closed at that time.

★ ★ ★ ★ ★ It's really nice here. The staff was unexpectedly nice and the decorations were creatively designed. I have spent time mostly on the second floor: it has enormous windows with beautiful views. The meal was also great, but not the best I've eaten. My biggest complaint is the restroom, because I found it really small for a building this huge. I recommend the place to try!

Here I find real Hungarian hospitality, no matter how late I arrive at night.
Very friendly owners and staff, great food. The owner is a sommerlier and reached me a lot about great Hungarian wines. In summertime there is a terrace at the board of the river.

★ ★ ★ ★ ★ We were in the hotel Amstel - Gyor from 17 to 19 August this year. We are fascinated by everything. Amazing service, delicious food in good quantity, close to the old center, clean and well maintained rooms, staff speaking perfect English. Moreover, we bought vouchers in February and due to the COVID crisis we had to change the date of our accommodation 3 times. And the staff communicated with us with great patience and respect. Overall, everything was at a very high level, so we recommend this hotel and will be happy to return.
