It's a great little adventure for young and old and its history is interesting. The tour could be a little longer because there are lots more tunnels in there but lots of the areas are closed off. The geology and minerals and their shapes are unique.

The second cave in Lillafured together with St Istvan is the biggest attraction here. Only guided tours in Hungarian starts every hour and lasts 40 minutes. It is cold inside, make sure you have something extra to wear especially on a sunny summer day.

Very nice tour, about 20 minutes long. Mostly in Hungarian with short summaries in English. Not so cold but very stuffy.

A great cave! At last not a cave only full of stalagmites and stalagtites! The cave itself is full of small tunnels and interesting rooms. The entrance is easy to reach and has a lovely view, it is near to the palace and its garden. I wish the tour was longer.

awful service, we arrived at 15:00, they told we need to wait till next excursion that starts at 16:00, we bought tickets and went to walk around. At 15:55 we came at the cave entrance (under the ticket selling counter). we were waiting for 25 minutes noone came. We went back to ticket counter they told us group went inside at 16:00, what? we were there and noone called us inside... just a mess.. and yes, excursion is only on Hungarian and you will get this sheet of paper see photo... they could also give some photo's from the inside - so no one need to go inside at all -just reed a text and see photos and be free...

They don't provide tours or audio in english. Only 2 pieces of paper with a bit of information (after the tour you have to return it). You can't really read it because inside is dark and you can't use a torch. With 32 people inside we couldn't enjoy the tour at all. We literally couldn't fit inside the cave, we spent most of time in passages, once we enter the chamber the light was off. 30 min we spent chasing the group. The cave is too small for 32 people. It was a big disappointment for us. If you don't understand Hungarian then I don't recommend you to visit this place. Waste of money and time.

A small but interesting set of caves with beautiful limestone features. The tour guide gave a very good explanation and was entertaining!
