★ ★ ★ ★ ★ Eseti légtér engedélyhez kellett volna a repülőtér engedélye, már minden egyéb engedély megvolt, csak rájuk vártunk, végül nem is jelentkeztek. A repülőtér üzemeltetői teljesen inkompetensek.
Ez 2019-ben volt, azóta üzemeltető váltás volt a reptéren, azóta valószínű jobb a helyzet.
An occasional airspace permit would have required an airport permit, we already had all the other permits, we were just waiting for them, in the end they didn’t even apply. Airport operators are completely incompetent.
This was in 2019, since then there has been a change of operator at the airport, and since then the situation has probably improved.

A repülőtér Egertől keletre a Vécsey völgy úton át Noszvaj felé vezető úton az Eger vége tábla után dombtetőn jobbra található.
Apollo Sports Airport, flying day.
The airport is located east of Eger on the Vécsey Valley Road to Noszvaj, following the Eger End sign on the hilltop to the right.

★ ★ ★ ★ ★ Great location, but practically unattended (when no events are taking place there). No fuel or any services, closest is a wineyard 100 m from the airport but that's also not always open (mostly during summer). Downtown Eger is a good 30 min walk to the left when you leave the airport area (or by taxi). Parking (aircraft) is on the grass in front of the hangars for 5000 HUF per day and there is no landing fee. Would come back again just for the scenery and the wines.
