Aqua Palota - Aqua Palota

Kids have very few slides and I think it’s too expensive compared to other aquaparks. Budapest aquapark offers much more in return even cheaper!

I can only rate the place with 3 stars. When we arrived there, it was not possible to pay with a SZÉP or bank card. The checkout was quite scattered. We bought nine tickets and gave only 8 armbands to the first one, then I informed him of the discrepancy which he had difficulty understanding. The system may be a bit slow but access to other baths is smoother. What seemed to be a negative, and I saw something else to do with it, was that the walking area around the pool area was very slippery, which they tried to compensate with a slip hazard. At the entrance to the aquapqlota, right after the automatic doors, there are 2 foot washes that you won’t even notice unless you trip over the edge. A warning floor sign could possibly be placed here to prevent accidents. The spa itself was good overall. Clean and tidy. There was no problem with the temperature during our stay. There was quite a large line in the dining room at lunchtime, but the service provider was able to handle it very well so we didn’t have to wait long. The food was delicious and the portions were adequate and the price was quite subjective so I don’t characterize it.

One of our favorite places both in winter and summer, a relatively new water park, with modern slides both indoors and outdoors. The town is very well maintained and a pleasure to go for walks in the evening. I recommend!
