2008-ban gondoltunk egyet és Írországba költöztünk. Mindketten vendéglátóztunk mióta az eszünket tudtuk, így ott is ezzel kezdtünk el foglalkozni. Attila több népszerű dublini helynek volt üzletvezetője, én pedig amellett, hogy különféle éttermekben dolgoztam, elkezdtem sütni.
Igazi multikulturális, nemzetközi inspirációk értek minket a sok-sok európai és amerikai utazásunk során. Ezek után döntöttem úgy, hogy komolyabb szintre emelem a tudásomat és jelentkeztem a Dublini Műszaki Egyetemre, pék-cukrász-menedzsment szakra.
A képzésnek köszönhetően találkoztam világhírű pékekkel; fantasztikus, inspiratív oktatók tanítottak; részt vehettem tematikus work-shopokon Írországban, Angliában, Franciaországban, Belgiumban és eljutottunk az újhullámos kovászos kenyér mekkájába, San Franciscoba is, ahol életreszóló élményekben volt részem. Valószínūleg itt dőlt el végleg, hogy a kenyér lesz az én “szakterületem”.
Igazi büszkeség, hogy az ABST szervezésében Angliában rendezett versenyen „A legjobb kovászos kenyér” és „A verseny legjobb terméke” díjakat nyertem el 2017-ben .
Nemrég pedig álmodtunk egy nagyot és hazaköltöztünk megvalósítani.

★ ★ ★ ★ ★ We were looking for a vegan sandwich offering and a cute little bakery for breakfast and this place delivered on all accounts! While I didn't try the bread I really wished I was able to take the miso sesame sourdough. The bread in the sandwich was spot on and the chickpea filling was delicious. We also had the egg and cheese sandwich. Lashings of butter and generous fillings made it a great choice. We also got the seeded bear claw pastry with cheese and sauerkraut. Delicious!!

Can still not get over their croissant, one of the best I had in my life. Budapest trip would be incomplete if you don't visit this place.
