★ ★ ★ ★ ★ Never have I ever seen such an incompetent staff. I ordered 2 beers, got only one, but on the receipt there were the two beers I've ordered, PLUS another beer and a tequila I did not even order. Others at my table either got coffees instead of beers, or lagers instead of wheat beers.
The food was also horrible, the burgers were dry and burned while the scones were basically raw.
I don't think the event's organizer saw the previous reviews. I did, so I did not expect anything good, but I was still let down.
Avoid this place like the plague.

★ ★ ★ ★ ★ I'll agree with previous reviews this place is a dive for the unsuspecting new comer to Budapest. I thought it was over-staffed. Habitués seem to be local Mitchell-brother looking folk who smoke (outside).
The goulash we ordered was alright and tasty. My husband who's not a big beer drinker enjoyed the beer?

★ ★ ★ ★ ★ I've seen the Czech menu and because I spent my childhood there I couldn't resist. The meal was tasty and if you don't know the Czech cuisine you could be fooled. I'm sure the cook wasn't Czech at all -what was a disappointment. Otherwise a nice place, little overpriced.

★ ★ ★ ★ ★ They served soups which was off, sour and smellt finny. As we the guests had noticed sent it back and they immediately changed it. One of the soup was suppose to come with peas, which was missing from the soup. After the guest was almost finishing the dish the waiter arrived with the peas, which he spooned into the leftover soup. The aubergine we ordered was bitter as well. The restaurant didn't offered any compensation for our disappointing experience. They said they did everything well when I mentioned that they could have given us food poisoning. They offered nothing in return for the terrible experience. The waiter was polite. I would not recommend this place to eat. The beer Staropramen was fine.

★ ★ ★ ★ ★ I have mixed feelings about this place.
The waiter was really nice at the beginning but later on he became quite pushy to try their pálinka. The beer was not too good either, but it arrived quickly.
He said at first that we were able to split the bill however at the end without asking he brought it out on one.
Honestly, I would not recommend it to anyone.

★ ★ ★ ★ ★ Be aware! The waiter cheated us! First he seemed ok recommended to try their local special Pralinka so we took it but when he gave us the bill, it turned out that the price of 2 pralinkas is 5000 forint ( this price was not exist in the menu and he said this is new). We paid by card , and more- he said that my card is not working so we paid by another , and after all we realized that they took payment twice from boths cards...

★ ★ ★ ★ ★ Waiter was totally drunk, made an issue about card payment and was generally unpleasant, as customers are bothering him and just causing problems.
The beer was good at least, but NEVER AGAIN!

★ ★ ★ ★ ★ Beware! They are serving lower quality, licensed, Hungarian made Staropramen beers from tap. It's better to choose bottled Primator from the fridge. Food is mediocre. Our waiter seemed to be drunk.
