Sajnos az "ikonok" 99%-a ragasztott, rossz minőségű fával készült darab, fabatkát sem ér. Az eladó hölgy pedig még az árát sem tudja, nemhogy kiket ábrázolnak ezek a képek... Budapesten és környékén rengeteg IGAZI, tehetséges ikonfestő van. Nem is értem, az ő ikonjaik hol vannak, szégyen, hogy ez bekerülhetett a várnegyedbe! Óriási csalódás! Sure, they also have handmade icons (like the bigger ones), but it’s basically an overpriced kitsch parade. Unfortunately, 99% of the "icons" are pieces made of glued, poor-quality wood, not even worth a piece of wood. And the lady for sale doesn't even know the price, let alone who these pictures represent ... There are a lot of REAL, talented icon painters in and around Budapest. I don't even understand where their icons are, shame it could have gotten into the castle quarter! Huge disappointment!

Auch für die weniger christlich geprägten ist sicher was interessantes dabei. Netter Laden mit toller Athmosphäre und nettem Personal. Small souvenir shop with a large selection of all kinds of icons, rosaries and Christian souvenirs. For pilgrims and other customers. Also for the less Christian there is sure to be something interesting. Nice shop with a great atmosphere and nice staff.
