As a Westerner who has been in Budapest for a few years, I know all too well about the anxiety and miscommunication that comes with getting a haircut. You either get a military/nationalist cut or something from the Soviet-era. Marko gives you exactly what the style you want. Very affordable, great quality (as well as American Crew products, if you like). They also do a great job with the ladies. Definitely worth a visit/appointment.

This is a casual, small place that’s comfortable and hip. I rely on other’s reviews to find good haircuts when traveling. Highly recommended again here! Go there when your hair needs help in Budapest.

Importantly, for a very good price too! Everyone speaks English and the staff is very friendly (thanks for the tea!). They play good music, there is a friendly and a bit alternative vibe (but not to the level that makes you feel alienated and awkward). I will be coming back. A totally irrelevant but for this review: One of the brands of cosmetics they use with packaging in fluorescent colours, which I found funny. Almost like a bit of disco culture in an otherwise rock place.
