I’ve been to BabyGarden wisely many times and I can only recommend the place to everyone. It is characterized by a fairy environment, lots of love and a very family atmosphere. It is a great reassurance for me to know the children in the best hands during the day as well. Any questions are answered quickly and professionally, English-language fairy tales and games, and plenty of extra programs such as music wisdom or yoga also help children develop. We don't forget the pizza parties at night. ;) Flower, the head of the institution, exposes her heart and soul for the children and the sages, and the educators adore the children and give them the love and care they receive at home during the day as well.

Good marketing, wonderful promises, poor quality, safety problems, honesty problems. Cannot recommend.

To be totally honest, I'm not really sure what a typical day at Baby Garden looks like, but given that every morning my daughter starts chanting "YEAH.. bölcsi, bölcsi, bölcsi, let's go to bölcsi" (even on a weekend) it must be pretty damn awesome. They were absolute lifesavers during the pandemic/lockdown fiasco and stayed open, ensuring my daily Zoom meetings stayed hyperactive toddler free. Thank you BG!!!! Tonight my daughter is enjoying a Baby Garden Pyjama Party sleep over... And I'm enjoying a glass of wine and romantic evening with my wife. Absolute win. Thanks again BG! On a serious note, the team there are super nice, and in terms of development, our daughter has been leaps and bounds above her peers, and this is totally down to BG's approach. Baby Garden rocks!

Please avoid! The owner does not prioritize the safety and well-being of the children. It is all about maintaining good appearances (and making lots of money), so it may look appealing, but it is extremely disappointing and unsafe. To make things worse, the owner personally antagonizes those who attempt to speak up about the inappropriate/dangerous realities of the "daycare".

We signed up for Baby Garden when I was just 5 months pregnant, and it was the best decision we could have made. We we’re looking for a nursery with a small group of children, kind staff so we can be assured while we work, that our daughter is safe and loved and cared for during the day. We got that and so much more. We had the most fun during these past two years. I got regular updates through photos and videos of all the fun our daughter had: stroking the baby goats and ponies at Piczinke Póniudvar, squealing with laughter at the playground, splashing in the paddling pool, creating arts and crafts, singing and dancing to Gitár Gizi, playing , drawing, making friends. They do regular pyjama parties, how awesome is that? Every day she looked forward to going in and didn’t want to come home. It wasn’t free. I payed tuition every month, promptly and in full and I’ve never been threatened with a lawsuit. I also haven’t asked all my friends and family to slander them with one-star reviews, so that could also be why. Sadly, today is our last day at Baby Garden as we’re moving on to the next chapter in our lives. If you’re reading this looking for a nursery, go for it, take our spot! The cool kids go to Baby Garden!

You could take a chance on this nursery by believing the owner's friends' positive reviews. Or you could read my review and decide if it is really worth taking the risk at potentially your kid's expense. My advice: avoid like the plague. At fist they seem so lovely and sweet, then oh how the shoe hits the fan! Health and safety measures totally overlooked; kids left on their own in rooms often no professional looking after 5-6 children just the owner's mum (who can't even hear the doorbell), pacifiers regularly switched between kids, lots of kids crowded together in tiny rooms with no adult wearing masks during a friggin pandemic... They also just do not care about the terms of your agreement and will blatantly change terms, while begging for extra money ahead (which for some reason they ask you to pay to some random person's account you don't know, and which was certainly not in the agreement you signed). If you don't pay, don't expect to get any of your down-payment back for the months ahead! They've threatened so many disappointed mums with lawsuits (never actually going ahead with them of course). Really, you can't make this stuff up, it's ridiculous. Don't fall for their marketing and facebook page: they seem all lovely and sweet, until you find out about their ugly side. Their secret? They block all parents they have cheated and angered so they can't post negative reviews on their page. UPDATE: Since my review, a lot of the negative voices have come forward. In addition to a lot of positive reviews mysteriously starting to appear from people whose children never actually went to this nursery, but who seem to be friends of the owner. The owner also goes around threatening the mums who come forward with lawsuits. She won't keep me silent though. I have proof, and I stand up to bullies. 2nd UPDATE: The owner has clearly started to ask her friends to somehow make our situation out to be about not having wanted to pay for her services. I don't understand this strategy, I feel like she's digging herself in a bigger hole, because now I need to clarify, which will just make her look worse. I don't get it. In my opinion it's not only an aggressive, but also just a plainly stupid strategy. But okay, here goes: So of course we're not stupid, or cheapskates, or mean. We did actually pay every installment in time according to the contract. Then she breached the agreement. During the pandemic she wrote to parents, saying that from thereon they will only accept kids whose family cannot otherwise accommodate the child and even those they will only accept in reduced opening hours and it won't be the staff but her and her mum who will be looking after the kids. We did not agree to this, we weren't even consulted. She just went out and declared this despite our written agreement. In short, she unapologetically breached our written contract. Now after this she begged for money based on the "goodwill" of the parents, to "save" the nursery (I guess she herself knew she couldn't ask for the contractual fee anymore because of her breach). Really. She breached the contract and asked for money (to be sent to some rando's bank account which again, was NOT in the contract). It was embarrassing to see her beg because we thought that the nursery's existence wasn't so precarious. We were able to accommodate the child otherwise so by her new rule we couldn't even take our son there anymore. And STILL we offered her money, to help save the nursery because we were sorry for her. So yeah. It's not that we weren't willing to pay for services offered. It's that because of her breach of contract we couldn't take our kid to the nursery anymore, she begged for money by pleading "goodwill", turned up her nose at the amount we offered, used up our down-payment, then when that ran out, threatened with a lawsuit, then when that didn't work, didn't give back our kid's stuff, then when I wrote about this in a facebook group, threatened the group admins to take down my post and went around threatening with a lawsuit. ¯\_(ツ)_/¯

What an amazing place! Virág is such a devoted owner, and the whole place reflects that devotion. The staff is very professional, the space is clean and inviting, the design is tasteful and really cute. The outdoor area is our personal favourite with all the colourful toys. The children can learn and play in small groups (in hungarian and english) which was my no.1. preference in the process of choosing the perfect daycare. All in all this place is a real gem and I love that for us!
