★ ★ ★ ★ ★ Me and a foreign friend of mine visit the museum. Both of us enjoyed the museum, because it was English language audio guide. Worth it to visit if you are interested of theater's history.

The staff are eager to tell some old story about the actors and actresses world from the 20' centuries. :)

★ ★ ★ ★ ★ We visited the actor museum as part of the Budapest art week 2019 where a special Chekhov part could be seen how his plays formed the Hungarian theaters and the most nominated plays from the century were all presented from the director’s perspective. Can learn so much about these great artists. Well built up, very comprehensive.
The museum itself is in the villa what used to be the Bajor Family ‘s house where actors came together when they were not playing.
The Villa itself has a large garden with benches outside and some sculptures.
Only Hungarian scripts are written so be sure to have someone to translate!
