Memorial plaque in memory of Balint Balashshi, who lived in the 16th century. Hungarian poet, translator, warrior, founder of Hungarian lyric poetry. He died from wounds received during the siege of Esztergom.

The plaque in honor of one of my ancestors came from the important originally Franco-Franconian family BALAS de Villa Bala, Vice-Dukes of Transylvania.
