Tartalmilag ugyan szinte üres, de a kulturált környezet jó pihenőhely lehet a kirándulók részére. A leletek alapján a XI. századtól meglévő templom és temető a környék egyik legkorábbi szakrális épülete lehetett. A színes vakolattal ellátott templomot a XIV-XV. században átépítették: támpillérekkel látták el és gótikus stílusban átboltozták. A pusztatoronyi templom Szent István korához is köthető, de egyelőre még csak a föld alatt megőrzött műemlék. Balatonszabadi község ide állíttatta Veszprémi Imre millenniumi emlékművét is 2001-ben. Az érdekes formájú sóskúti mészkőből faragott 2,3 méter magas festett plasztika, Veszprémi Imre Balatonszabadiban született szobrászművész alkotása.
