We booked the "countess" caravan. It was the cheapest and most basic. This is what we expected. As backpackers, we were not fussy. We arrived, got sent to a caravan which had only one window which was not broken, this meant that our security was highly compromised. The kitchen side was broken, the second bed was broken, the air vent was broken, the zip on the awning was broken, we only had 2 deck chairs, eventhough it was meant for 4 people, and we had ALOT of ants surronding the fridge. Alongside this, the caravan smelt of gas whenever we tried to cook. When we spoke to the staff, they told us that we had ordered the basic caravan and we should expect basic. I agreed, but tried to explain that we are happy with basic, just not broken. Over the week they fixed some of the things, but we got alot of attitude from the staff there onwards and we felt very uncomfortable walking around the campsite, because we were getting grumpy faces off all the staff. Also, just so you know, the website says "Beaches" however there is no sand, only grass on the side of the lake. I would recommend against visiting this campsite.

Lovely location, quiet, though it is by the rail line, but this didn't bother us, as trains are infrequent. The shower blocks are very dated and a bit of a horror show under the rafters.

It is very well organised camping with all you need - kitchen, baby changing room, washing machine. The main disadvantage is the train which is so loud, every hour. During the time we were there were so many birds that our tent and car became all spotted. We had to clean everything.

Oh god! Many things to say about this place! First of all, it is so highly overrated for the price : more than 40 euros (12000+ forint) for 2 people, one car and one tent in late July is quite expensive considering the quality of the infrastructure. Second : someone will die of an heart attack in this camping one day! The train railroad was LITERALLY 5 meters away from the tent space and was running from 5am until 11pm every 15 to 30 mins. Just imagine sleeping deeply at 5 am in your tent and waking up to 150 decibels of full speed train in your ears!! Unbelievably ridiculous situation. Also it was impossible for us to properly plant the poles of our tent as there was only 5cm of soft ground then hard concrete or so underneath. Of course not everything was bad, the staff is polite and friendly including the security staff that do their job very well. There is an access to the paid beach that is close by and direct access to the water inside the camping from the caravans and mobile homes side. I can understand the necessity of running a business but in those circumstances and for this price... Just ouch.

Nice view on the lake if you're lucky and plenty of facilities but everything is dated and unhygienic. The prices are too high, the pitches are tiny and very cramped. The showers are terrible: old, unhygienic, lukewarm with low water pressure and bugs and cobwebs everywhere. The "beach" area are just some stairs into the water. I would not recommend this place at all.

We love this beautiful camping! ? Great hospitality, nice apartment house, the lake is just a couple of steps away. Totally recommend it! ??

Where to start. I got probably the worst plot in the camp right next to the reception and driveway. Related to this is the constant noise from cars parked on the instructions of a security guard right next to my plot on the road before check-in. Another negative thing are the toilets and showers, they are quite old but it wouldn't matter so much if they were maintained. There were an incredible number of cobwebs and spiders on the ceiling, it looked like it had never been cleaned. Thank God I don't have arachnophobia. The camp was quite noisy in the evening and at night, you have to reckon with the noise from the train tracks from about 5 in the morning to about 11 in the evening. The night calm was also not observed by many visitors and it was really hard to fall asleep in the noise. I give one star for the nice staff with whom you can speak English and German. I think you will find better camping options in the area.
