★ ★ ★ ★ ★ Cosy, but very well-equipped powerlifting gym in central Budapest.
The owner, Rozsi, was extremely welcoming and showed me around the place and made sure I was looked-after. If you're travelling and don't have belt or chalk with you, don't worry - it's all here. The place is extremely clean and in excellent condition. Shower facilities too.
For lifting, they have:
2 power-racks
Two platforms (bigger size suitable for any oly lifters)
A combi-rack
Squat rack (the portable kind)
Apologies if I missed anything...
The day-pass was an extremely reasonable HUF2000.
At the time of writing, the hours on here differ from those on facebook, so I would phone ahead to check - Rozsi speaks very good English.
I went in the afternoon and it was very quiet. When I passed later in the evening it was full of lifters, great to see!
Uploaded a video of the main room - there's another room with platform, power-rack etc.
I will be back!
