The price for this apartment was very very good, less then 20 euro per person per night. This is really a value deal comparing to other apartments at the approximately same position from the centre and having in mind the quality of this accommodation. The apartment is placed 2.7km from the Parliament. With excellent Budapest public transport it takes about 15 - 20 minutes to reach the main Budspest spots. The look of the building may raise uncomfort. It is an old building with a bit eery entrance, stairs and old small elevator. Then you enter in, at first sight, endless rows of entrances on several floors with an empty space in the middle. We got two offers: apartment with window looking at the street, but noisy; or apartment with a window looking at the inner courtyard, a bit dark, but quiet. Opted for the second one. The apartment is sweet, indeed. It is small but has almost all you need. The kitchen is equipped with cooking plate, kettler, microwave, fridge with freezer, a range hood, as well as kitchenware. Dish washing soap provided. Enough hot water. The apartment has a washing machine and a drying rack. Washing liquid is not provided. The bed is placed on the gallery and is comfortable , but very soft. This may be a problem for some, but also a heaven for the others. For those who enjoy hard mattresses there is a good sofa. The bathroom is good, with shower cabin and sink. Towels are provided as well as soap. Wi-Fi works perfectly. Enough plugs for charging devices. The public bus station is in front of the building. Nearby is a small grocery and bakery. Lidl is about 600m away and Decathlon about 800m. Having all in mind the accommodation deserves 5 stars. But it will be 4 stars only because the owner failed to provide some essentials which are not either expensive neither complicated to put in place, such as the dish washing cloth, kitchen towel, potholders or oven mitts and shampoo. These imperfections are not huge but spoil otherwise very good impression.

Positive: Great location, easy access and very helpful host on arrival. Everything is a available in the apartment that you will need. Public transport right in front of the building, supermarket, mall and dining within walking distance..

Lovely place, very comfortable and extremely clean. The owner is really kind and we had everything we needed in the apartment even washing machine. We could have access to the main Budapest spots easily. There is a bakery opposite with very cheap and delicious options. Definitely recommended.

Positive: Very clean and spacious apartment. Also within walking distance to the meeting venue and with plenty of nearby food shops, cafes, bakeries and groceries around.. Negative: The windows don't filter out the noise coming from vehicles in the streets. At night it can get a bit loud with vehicle noises disrupting our sleep. There were also not enough bowls to use for heating up ready made food or cereals in the microwave. There was only 1 plastic bowl available..

Positive: Very good, well-connected location on the outskirts of the city center. A beautiful old tenement house in an atmospheric district. Many inexpensive shops nearby. An ideal place for people who like the big city atmosphere. Very nice, professional and discreet service.. Negative: All the positive aspects of the accommodation completely compensated for any inconveniences (traffic outside the window)..
