A helyszín választása nem véletlen, ugyanis itt hozta létre a grófi Károlyi család az ország egyik első vadaskertjét, amelynek ispánja volt Bársony János, a természetírás legnagyobb alakjának, Bársony Istvánnak édesapja. Az épület nem csak emlékház, hanem egy kis létszámú csoport befogadására is alkalmas oktatási és bemutatási lehetőséget biztosító helyszín is egyben.
 Design of István Bársony Memorial House, presenting the past and present of forest and wildlife management in the area. The choice of location is not accidental, as it is here that the Count Károlyi family created one of the first wildlife gardens in the country, the father of which was János Bársony, the father of István Bársony, the greatest figure of nature writing. The building is not only a memorial house, but also a venue for education and presentation for a small group.
