Fully agree with the comments rating high the residence and the hosts. We always feel like at home and want to stay longer!

Terrible place, managed badly, with none of the amenities that are listed on the website. Moving here was a big mistake with absurd costs...and they take major advantage of foreigners just becasue they think they can. They also didn't return deposits at the end of the one year lease. Avoid at all costs!

I highly recommend Bastion Residence if you are looking for a place to live in Budapest. I had been there for almost a year, while on work assignment. The place is managed by a family which is living also in the complex. Peter and Krisztina are absolutely delightful and they are doing an exceptionell business running this place. Every single need (including pet sitter when I was on business travel) was met promptly. Located in the heart of Citadella, the place is relatively new and kept in very good conditions, including a garage and surveillance/security on the entire property (for those who are looking, you know what I mean, the major part of the rentals in the city of Budapest are located in old refurbished constructions). It is very well linked to both Buda and Pest, very quite, green place. A park and Citadella are on walking distance (5 min).

We had an exceptional experience at Bastion Residence, where we lived an entire year, while on work assignment in Budapest. Both, Peter and Krisztina, were absolutely delightful to be in business with. Every single need, relating to our stay at Bastion, was met by the promptest attention. Not ever, not even once did we need to ask for something repeatedly. They would jump in immediately to resolve absolutely anything we needed. Even access to Internet Peter helped us with in a matter of minutes, while we were awaiting for the Telekom's permanent installation. Every detail was perfectly attended to by the office and Bastion staff. Professionalism of the highest order, is what I carried out from our stay there. The unit we lived in was comfortable in every way, plus it was in a part of town we all loved! If I shall ever again find myself on a work assignment in Budapest, there's absolutely no doubt that Bastion Residence will be the place I'd want to return to. Perfectly situated, this is a first rate Apartment Complex ran by dedicated professionals, whose aim to please impressed us from day one, and until our last hour there. Exemplary and impressive is how I'll always remember Bastion Residence!

I'll start saying that I highly recommend Bastion Residence if you are looking for an apartment in Budapest. I can honestly say that living here has been the best rental experience I have ever had. Peter, Krisztina and all the staff are always incredibly helpful with everything. The building caretaker stops and shakes hands with you every time you run into him in the building! Everything is kept immaculate and if anything gets damaged it is repaired immediately . The parking garage is the cleanest I've every seen. The floors are painted and the cleaning people actually mop out the garage on a regular basis. Quite the contrast from most parking garages which are dark and dingy. Just an example of how well kept the entire place is. The apartments vary in floorplan quite a bit, but I looked at many 3 years ago (the building was new and nearly empty at that time, so I had my pick) but all the floor plans were good depending on your needs. I settled on a loft penthouse with views of the Parliament and the Basilica. I've had friends from all over the world visit and stay with us and they were all impressed and amazed by the apartment, the complex and the location. I could go on and on, but if you are looking for an apartment in Budapest, you won't find any better place. Highly highly recommended.
