Not just a statue. People don't know who he was. Beck Ö. (Full name Beck Ötvös Fülöp or Beck Ödön Fülöp He was born in Pope, June 23, 1873 Hungarian sculptor and medalist. He was born into a family of ten. He studied goldsmithing at the School of Applied Arts. He also spent a few snow days in Vienna and then came to Paris on a scholarship. He made the beating pattern of the crown of the Austro-Hungarian Monarchy. He applied from Paris to create the Millennium Exhibition Commemorative Medal, which he won. He also went on study trips to Italy and Germany. In 1906 he won the Grand Prix in Milan. He worked in sculpture in Gödi's workshop. One of the main works of his life, Aphrodite, was completed in 1915. He then made money samples, was a teacher at the college, opened a private school of sculptor, and received the Grand Prix of the Pál Merse Society of Szenye. He also dealt with building sculpture In 1944, after the German occupation of the country, he was moved to a yellow-star house from which he escaped. During the Arrow Cross rule, he was forced to hide with his wife, hiding in the basement of a friend’s house. On January 31, 1945, he disappeared from there, without a trace.
