The curiosity of the church, built in 1800 in the Classicist style, is that the 500-pound bell with the year 1532, rescued from the church that had been set on fire in the autumn of 1593, has survived and was traditionally buried in the vineyards of bassoon under Turkish rule. The bell can still be found in the church.
