And it was open. It was a bleak visit, a follow-up. It’s a semi-pub, half-restaurant, half-confectionery mixed-use thing, the atmosphere is pretty depressed, we were the only guests except for a local at the counter. The staff is amateur but benevolent. We asked for two bean goulashes, it contained small, icy beans, there was meat, it wasn't fresh, so we had to wait some time for it. I opted for the chicken breast boletus ragout, my wife asked for a boletus penny, well, these weren't anything fresh either, but we ate it disciplinedly, leaning against the wall of the sadly Congolese restaurant. We asked the serving boy something about the abbey, no, no, he doesn't know, it's not local. . . I really liked some of the decoration, the big back wall is really about the abbey the boy didn’t know about, and Christmas, where a small white statue of the Buddha sits between Jesus and the Christmas tree, exemplifying ecumenism.
