A Bokodi utcai temetőt régen Kálváriának hívták s szinte hihetetlennek hangzik, de sokat játszottam itt, mert a gyerekkoromat a Bem József utcában töltöttem s ide jártunk télen szánkózni, nyáron meg kerékpározni. Ezért pontosan tudtam, hogy van itt két sír két dédnagyszülőtől, mert ezeket akkoriban mindig felkerestem. Így ugyan 50 év után visszatérve csak halvány emlékeim voltak arról, hogy ezek hol lehetnek, de az iroda útmutatásával sikerült lokalizálnom mindkettőt. Az egyik egy kb. 70 éves sírkő, ami még mindig stabilan áll - egy hivatásos kitüntetett katonatiszté volt egyébként, aki nagy bátorságról tett tanúbizonyságot - s nagyon csodálkoztam, hogy egy mécses is volt rajta pedig szerintem a családból oda már senki nem jár. A másik, a dédnagymamám - akit személyesen is ismertem - csak egy fakeresztes sír volt s annak elkorhadt oldaldeszkáit még meg is találtam a kb. 50 év dacára mindenféle kereszt vagy jelzés nélkül. Van ennek a temetőnek egy különleges atmoszférája szerintem s érdekes, hogy ez az érzés a kb. 50 év távlatából is még ma is megmaradt.

The cemetery on Bokodi Street used to be called Calvary and it sounds almost unbelievable, but I played a lot here because I spent my childhood on Bem József Street and we went here to go sledding in winter and cycling in summer. The other, my great-grandmother - whom I knew personally - was just a wooden cross tomb, and I even found its rotten side boards in the approx. Despite 50 years without any crosses or markings. I think there is a special atmosphere in this cemetery and it is interesting that this feeling is the approx. 50 years from now, it still remains today.
