★ ★ ★ ★ ★ Very familiar, cheap (not free), natural lakeside, to swim, sunbath and beach wolleyball. No crowd, fortunately, neither loud music. Splendid for families. The road to reach it is a bit rural, though.

★ ★ ★ ★ ★ This was the first time we went to Őrség. This lake was offered by the apartment ‘s owner. We really liked it because clean and at the lake shore you can sunbath. There are some buffets where you can buy the usual foods i.e hamburger , lángos, corn on the cob. This is not a free beach you have to pay for it but it is worth it .

★ ★ ★ ★ ★ The lake and the surrounding forests are beautiful, and not only in summer. Ideal for a long walk around the lake. Actually I prefer hiking here in winter when it is usually abandoned. The camp site is mostly visited by Austrian people, they do not do much trouble, they are either drunk in their huts or fishing, deep in their thoughts. The North-Eastern shore used to look pretty run down with crappy botched fishing piers and litter but they have somewhat improved it recently. Just scurry past this part and enjoy the rest of it...

★ ★ ★ ★ ★ I celebrated my 25th birthday with my best mates at this beautiful spot. The water was of the perfect temperature and I swam all the way to the other end. Highly recommended to rent a paddle boat if in a big group. It takes the fun to the next level.

★ ★ ★ ★ ★ A pretty large lake in a very nice scenery. Visited it on a weekday in August and there were only a dozen people around.
The beach is very well maintained and clean. The public toilette is old but also clean.

★ ★ ★ ★ ★ Wonderful environment, very relaxing, very local. In the middle of forest with a few cottages. Water warms up quickly by sun. It's a natural lake with fishing facilities. If you want to get away of the daily rush then don't hesitate to visit this place. Eating and drinking facilities are around. Also camping site.
