Great food, great atmosphere, great staff! You can't reserve so got here by 7pm at the latest to stand a chance of a table. It's run by the Wine Society so it has lots of good Hungarian wines which you can then buy a bottle of at the shop at back.

Point by point: The food: disappointing.I had the stew and I guess it was the last portion in the fridge: the portion was very small and the taste was quite salty. The wine: if you go to LIDL, buy the first bottle you see, pour it and then dilute it with water for 50 %, then you still have better wine than the one that I got The coffee: nothing wrong here The service: we ordered sparkling water and got flat water. Can happen, no problem. I just expect a little more effort from the waiter trying to make up for it. We ordered cheese-tapas as a starter but apparently the cook and the waiter thought we would like that together with our main dish. When asked the waiter told us that it is the way they do it. By not thinking what makes sense, I guess. Furthermore the waitresses hung around the tables waiting for you to finish a plate , glass or whatever so they could take it away immediately. All of them? No, one of them didn't. She was too busy talking to her friends that came in. It all ended with a sarcastic goodbye by the waiter on our way out. For us it will be a farewell

Somebody wrote in their review that this place is permanently closed but it is not. Even during the pandemic, they are still open as of this review. This is by far the smallest of their shops in Budapest, but they still have some great choices. The service is friendly and helpful too. No great surprises in their offerings, as they tend to sell the same stuff, but I appreciate the nice service and the wifi to check wine reviews.

One of my favorite restaurants in budapest. Tasty food and great wine pairing. In the back of the restaurant there's a wine shop, which has a nice variety of hungarian wines. The price is fair as well, and the atmosphere is relaxed and elegant.

Best franchising store for wines around here. And with the membership discount and deals it just makes it smoothly appreciable

I wish I could give a 0. Lanc Hid location. about 2 weeks ago I wanted to get some wines...my Canadian friend recommended this place...as I grabbed handle to open it in a split second a female locked the door from inside and walked away without a glimpse or a word...7.58 pm...typical eu trash...

Once highly popular, this downtown eatery is still offering high quality food with a local touch. No reservation is possible and as the place is within the theater district, dome peak hours can be expected depending on the season. But in general the crowd is torelable and with a little luck, you can have a table even on a weekend evening. The place is also equipped with a wine shop that carries an impressive selection of local wine, hence the name. Service is friendly and timely, also in English.

We went to this restaurant because of a recommendation from a business partner. When we arrive it looked like a private party. But someone, as it turns out the boss, invited us to come in and have dinner and something to drink. He told us that he invited business partners and friends to celebrate the last evening of his restaurant! He will close the restaurant and focus on his wine distribution business. It was a very special and unforgettible evening with the boss and his friends. We say thank you and wish you all the best for the future!
