Vak Bottyán volt a várkapitámy, mikor a török uralom alól felszabadult Vác. A szobor a nyeregből kiállva ábrázolja Vak Bottyánt, jobb kezében leengedett kard, kantár nincs a lovon.
 It is located on the corner of Budapest's main road and Museum Street, near Konstantin Square.
Blind Bottyán was the castle captain when Vác was liberated from Turkish rule. The statue, protruding from the saddle, depicts Blind Botty, with a sword lowered in his right hand and no bridle on the horse.
