When we tried to check in, the hotel said our booking is not confirmed and we don't have a room. I showed the confirmation from the hotel which was signed by one of their employees and still they said it's not their problem. They do know who send it across. I have never had such a bad experience in Europe and the staff was rude, even calling us as liers. We were with 2 small kids and they just said sorry we don't have a room. Finally they agreed they had issues with their system but they cannot do anything about it. The worst hotel experience that I ever had

We thoroughly enjoyed our stay here! The staff was always available and very resourceful. Our room was spacious, clean, and the bed was very comfortable :). Everything seemed to be in walking distance as well.

Honest review (stayed : 2018 oct) 1. No kitchen -> instant breakfast package Supermarket sandwich, sugar juice 2. No window No ventilation. I was suffocated. 3. No individual cooler / heater Once the owner turns on AC/heater -> you don’t have an option. Think twice before you choose this hotel. (Staff was kind though..)

This place has 11 hotel rooms and three apartments. It is very new and therefore clean, is inexpensive, it is easy walking distance from the main train station, the staff are very nice and helpful, the bathroom is large, and we had a bottle of Hungarian white wine waiting for us in our room. Those are the good things. The construction quality is seriously lacking throughout, with the stairs from the 1st to 2nd floor (2nd to 3rd US) having the top and bottom stair being 1/2 the height of the rest of the stairs. This is a serious US bldg code violation, because it is a serious tripping hazard. No elevator, one of the two skylights in our room had a leak down the ceiling, and the shower head holder and soap dish were missing screws, so they flopped about. All that said, I had a wonderful sleep, because we were far from the street, and the unit was whisper quiet. Oh, and if you get a room, don't look for big street signage, as there is just a small sign on one door on the street. You will need to be buzzed in, walk through a courtyard, and enter the Hotel, in what was probably the carriage house for the original main building. No frills here, but fine for an inexpensive place to sleep in Budapest.

My boyfriend and I had a great stay at the Bp Design hotel. The employees were very friendly and gave us great recommendations to see and eat while in Budapest. The rooms were very clean and designed beautifully. Would definitely stay here again!!

Had an overall great experience. There was a woman named Sylvia at the reception. One of the kindest and most helpful staff member we have ever met through all our travels and we have travelled through a lot of countries accross the world. She should be promoted and appreciated for her great work. It made our stay extra nice and memorable.

Location is super, but this is the only great thing. Breakfast is a basket of sugary juice, cheap convenience store croissants and the rest what you can see on the photo. Maybe it was my luck, but every night the common air conditioning system was turned full on baking mode. It was impossible to sleep. The reason for that was because one of the clients was cold in their room and they asked to turn on the heater. And if you have a chance to get a room with a window, get a room with a window. The virtual window option was disappointing. Staff is quite nice.

Hotel is in a great location, great price, and is excellently kept up. Service was fantastic, with the hostess when we arrived being very personable and answering our questions. When our key did not work on the second night, the hostess that night heard it from the ground floor and came up to give us a second before we could ask. Cons are only that the water is not hot enough, our shower drain was clogged, and there is no room fridge. Oh and there is no elevator up to the upper floors. But still, amazing, and would stay here again.
