A Börzsöny kapujában, számtalan túraútvonal kiindulópontjában található Igazgatóságunk erdei iskolája és látogatóközpontja Királyréten, ahol 3-6-8 ágyas szobákban 41 fő részére, valamint 2 ágyas, zuhanyzós szobákban 10 fő részére biztosítunk szálláslehetőséget. Vendégeink a látogatóközpont nyújtotta lehetőségek közül is válogathatnak – interaktív természetismereti kiállítás, vezetett séták a Királyréti tanösvényen várják az érdeklődőket.

★ ★ ★ ★ ★ Nice countryside. Lots of wild cape gooseberries. Trails suitable for not too challenging mountain biking. Looks good for wild camping in tents or hammocks. Not sure if this is legal here, but it is highly unlikely that a careful leave-no-traces camper would be noticed.

★ ★ ★ ★ ★ We just wandered one hour here and couldn't find any trails. We asked several locals but nobody knew anything about trekking trails. There is a wrong location in google maps. I also read from the page about Z+ path which starts from bus 65 terminal. I searched all the websites but couldn't find this kind of parh or bus terminal from any maps. We came here by taxi.

Has space for kids, animals and nice for couples too.
You can bring your food or buy from one of the cafes/restaurants here.

Various kind of trecking, biking routes lot of good belvedere points, geocache, etc.
Easy to reach with car but also with public transportation.
Good place for families with dogs/pets!
Play-grounds also available for little ones - just in case the forest, valeys and hills would not be enough :)

★ ★ ★ ★ ★ Serene landscape, spanning views, plenty of animals - deers, wild boar, mouflon, hedgehogs, forest and meadow birds; sightings are almost always guaranteed. Edible mushrooms and forest berries grow among beech, hornbeam, oak and pine. Peculiarities include heritage walks and flower rich limestone grassland on the hillsides. Every step brings back childhood memories.
