A "Land Art" is mindig megújuló alkotásokkal vár.
It is a miracle that the Danube does not take it all away during a flood ... Fortunately, because the cycle path is amazingly cozy, with its winding line, the proximity of the gravel shore, the view of the floodplain forest. "Land Art" is also always waiting for renewable works.

A kerékpàrút több felújításon esett àt legutóbb 2019-ben. A németeket a XX szàzadban kitelepítették. Az 1980-as évek óta sokan költöznek ki Budapestről, népszerű agglomerációs településsé vàlt.
A very pleasant place is the cycle path through the Danube. Unfortunately, they cut out a few trees but some of them were used for good purposes because they were made into cute, scary figures. This is Eurovelo road 6, which runs through several countries along the Danube. The bike path underwent several renovations most recently in 2019. Incidentally, the history of Budakalász is very rich. The locality has been inhabited for more than 15,000 years and the first car model was found in the quarry here. The name refers to the Kalausi or Kalis group from the early Middle Ages. Unfortunately, the Turkish era swept away the soldiers who were engaged in trade and farming. They were replaced by Serbs and then German and Slovak settlers after the expulsion of the Turks. The Germans were deported in the 20th century. Since the 1980s, many people have moved out of Budapest and become a popular agglomeration.

Amazing path. Not only for bikes, as I was in fact on foot. Part of it is along a branch of the Danube River, where it is easy the access the water and enjoy a natural stone beach and the landscape. Then the path diverges towards the land. Lovely scenery.

Great in the spring, real forest atmosphere. Potentially crowded in summer though.
