★ ★ ★ ★ ★ Went today for a tour with the English General Group, with the amazing tour guide, Regi.
It was a very hot day, in the middle of the afternoon, but despite of that she had all the energy it takes to cativate the group's attention. She was always very friendly, and open to answer any question or to give any advice about the city.
The tour itself was very interesting and useful, as she showed us some of the most important monuments around the city, adding some interesting history facts.
Loved the experience, and I advice everyone who is in Budapest to take this experience and, if possible, choose Regi! ;D

★ ★ ★ ★ ★ Completed the Budapest walking tour on 16th August with a group of friends. Our guide Regi was really friendly, helpful and offered interesting information. She also had a microphone so we could hear her easily. An excellent tour, would highly recommend.

She was extremely cheerful and passionate and she definitely made all the information about the history of Budapest more fun.
What we appreciated the most was the insights about the Hungarian culture that she told us about, starting from the quick Hungarian language course to the inventions of this beautiful country (like the Rubik's cube and the vitamin C).
The tour covered many important sights of the city: St. Stephan's Basilica, Chains Bridge, Budapest Castle, Monument to the Fisherman, Our Lady's Church and so on.
We can't but admit that Regi is the best tour guide in "continental Europe"!

★ ★ ★ ★ ★ We did this tour with Andris on Thursday 10/10/19. Weather was great. Andris gave us a good general insight into life in Budapest in the past and present. We walked for approximately 2.5 hours and the hardest part was going up steps towards the castle on the Buda side of river but worth the effort for the views. Pleasant guide and very informative.

★ ★ ★ ★ ★ I generally prefer free walking tour, as the guides are more enthusiastic in making us discover the city and sharing their culture and you're sure that it is not a tourist trap.
I did the sight-seeing tour of Budapest. This tour was one of the best I've done (probably the best)!
Although we didn't do much walking considering the long time the tour took (3h), the guide went in thorough details of every aspect of the city, its history and its culture. It gave a nice overview of the city and Hungary in general, while spending time outdoors, contrary to a museum.
Highly recommend this tour! But do expect the whole afternoon as it takes 3h.
Of course, don't forget to tip the guide, especially if they did a wonderful job!

What made the tour great was the fact that Andris is hilarious. We spend a wonderful 2 hours tour. Is conceived in a way that you feel like touring with a group of friends. Extremely enjoyable. I strongly recommend it because if you want to make the best of your holiday in Budapest, this is an awesome way. Thank you Andris!!!
