★ ★ ★ ★ ★ To say Ferenc fed us well would be an understatement. From the first tasting, our jaws dropped. Ferenc was beyond generous with not just the food, but his time, stories and humour. Felt that he knew what we enjoyed more, and so spent more time in those places. Ferenc's local knowledge of bars, restaurants, produce and wine seemed endless. He threw in a lot of culture and history as well. He's obviously a guy who loves Budapest and showing it off to its best.
At end of tour he happily gave us additional recommendations, as well as his contact details for any questions we had during our stay. He may have regretted that, as we asked questions for days but he was always helpful. Couldn't thank him enough.
Was a pleasure to go on tour with Ferenc. I've every intention of going out of my way to return.

★ ★ ★ ★ ★ We booked 3 tours - Fools and Kings, the Pest tour, and the ruin bars tour. Ferenc was our guide for all and he was exceptional. He was not only extremely informative, but was also very entertaining. 8 friends were with us on two of the tours and we all absolutely enjoyed every moment. We highly recommend them.

★ ★ ★ ★ ★ I can not say enough good things about Ferenc and Budapest Urban Walks. I did a wine tour and a Buda Castle District tour, and I absolutely loved both of them. Ferenc is so personable, incredibly knowledgeable, and really good at explaining Hungarian history. I learned so much and I would recommend these tours to anyone visiting Budapest.

★ ★ ★ ★ ★ Wonderful experience. We would highly recommend this tour. Our guide, Andrea, had our day planned out and arrived with water bottles and transit tickets to help with getting around Budapest. Andrea oriented us to the city and gave suggestions for the following day when we would be on our own. She made the history understandable and not overwhelming so that we could come away with a good overview and main events that we could remember. A private tour is a little more money but so worth it. We corresponded with the office before the tour and the responses were quick and gave us just the information that we needed.
