Big selection of coffee, nice staff, delicious desserts.

★ ★ ★ ★ ★ Ideal if you love coffee. Every time I go I try at least 2 different varieties. There isn't much to eat but what they have is yummy. Mostly, small sweet desserts.

★ ★ ★ ★ ★ This bar serves an amazing selection of coffees from all around the world as well as cakes and sweets from the most unthinkable places. I had a Zimbabwe cake which was delicious and a Hibiscus lemonade which was also very good.

★ ★ ★ ★ ★ The price is average. The coffee is not the best, also average. Ordered a chocolate and became a coffee that was a unpleasant surprise. Drinking out of Papercups is the normal way in here. It’s very loud in there so don’t come if you want to relax a little.
Go to „Mon Cherie Coffee Budapest“ it’s only 3 minutes walking away and way better (my rate: 5 Stars!)

★ ★ ★ ★ ★ Budapest doesn't seem to have a massive coffee culture but Cafe Frei is an interesting but great fix. While it doesn't look like the usual places western coffee enthusiasts go, it did serve the best cup of coffee I had in Budapest.
Their menu is more like a coffee magazine, filled with an incredible range of specialty coffees from all over the world, including many I'd never heard of! English speakers - when we were there they had no English menu, but nothing Google translate can't solve. I recommend you sit down first, carefully choose which exotic beverage you might try and then go and order.

★ ★ ★ ★ ★ A good spot with a nice selection of coffee of in the city center of budapest. The prices are okay for what you get, the cake's and pastries are a bit lackluster but you get what you pay for. Staff is friendly and the place is clean. If you need a quick caffeine fix it's fine.
